Cirebon City

Our final destination is Cirebon, we went using Pantura Road (North Beach Road) It's the most famous big road in java. The Road is straight but have many surprises (holes in many spots) so the driver must be ready to evade them.

Pekalongan is fine city to look the Batik's and we went to Bang Dul Tauto for Lunch. It's a combination Taucho with Soto.

At 18:00 we arrived at cirebon and checked in at Zamrud Hotel. 3 Standards room. (280.000 x 3)

The day after we went for Cirebon Batik. (batik Trusmi) one place for shopping. It was convenient and the price is affordable.

The Next day we went straight through to Jakarta.

Semarang City

We went to Central Mosque. This is the largest mosque in Central java. The View is spectacular. The 'umbrella' was not opened, but we still can feel the large site.

We went also to klenteng Sam Poo Khong, because it was a legend for Semarang. and a beautiful old Architecture.

The Grand Semarang City panorama was also a good spot to enjoy Semarang, because of the Altitude. We can see Semarang city from this place. And maybe one day i can fly an FPV plane from this Spot.

Not lucky for us, the MURI museum and Jamu Ny Meneer Museum was closed for the weekend. (Very strange for tourist)

Goes to Solo and Semarang

Went to solo and browse candi Prambanan Site. It's a famous tourist site. They say they can get thousands of tourist a day.

and then we went straight through to Semarang. It was a long ride, The Toll was closed and there's traffic Jam at Ungaran.

We found Semesta hotel, and we rent one Suite Room for all of Us. (Rp. 660.000) because they have 2 rooms separately, the boys can use the living room and sofa and use our sleeping bag :D (cheapo)

At Jogja Town. The Tour

At this day we went around-around (muter-muter) Jogja. We went to keraton and city landmarks. The ladies went shopping at beringharjo and the boys goes to McD. huahaha.. (one place we know it's cold enough for us)

The tour at keraton is very cheap by becak. (Rp. 20.000) they go to keraton, taman sari, batik place and other place. They offer places for shopping and enjoy the view.

Then we went to Parang Tritis Beach (1.5 hour trip) for the sunset. The place is relatively quiet but it's raining when we arrived. So we need to wait about half hour. So it's time to eat our Pecel.
This is the footage. We saw the rainbow after the rain. It was gracious.

At borobudur

We went to borobudur at the morning, but there's traffic jam on the road, so we made it in one and a half hour.

It was very hot and luckily it's raining after we left. The weather was a little windy. All my family went up by stair but not me and nadra, because zhafirah was crying. I think it was too hot for her. So we wait at the exit and look for cold drinks at the exit gate.

I brought my rc plane to play, enjoy the view. This is my first footage of a well known spot.
Someday i fly a better plane and a better camera.

We went to Warung SS for lunch and very tired for the rest of the day.

At Jogjakarta

From Tasikmalaya, we went to Jogja. it's a moderately slow pace and we stopped at Ny.Suharti @ Kutoarjo for late lunch. it's a very long trip because the road is not very empty and our car cannot go very fast

we stopped also for the Ice Dawet (Es Dawet) along the road, because it's very famous. I personally didn't like the sunny day. It was very hot and very dry. So it's better to stop and enjoy the ice.

Cendol Banyumas at Wangon

and finally we arrived at 18:00 in Jogja. and we search for our hotel (house of chandra) at the taman siswa road. Lot's of culinary stuff over there.
the road is small but manageable for our car. The house had 3 rooms with air conditioning, living room and toilets, and big enough for us to enjoy our stay.
we stayed there for 3 days. (Rp 600.000 x 3 days)

We went eating bakmi for dinner.

The Beginning of Trip

This is our trip to middle Java (Central Java). We have planned this trip in very short time. So no special vehicle or fare needed. We went using our Kijang, and we modified the back arrangement of our car.

We put some of our baggage on top of the car and the all the rest went to back seat.
We make it comfy so 2 peoples can rest relaxly at the back seat.

We went at 8:30 am and rest at Garut at 13:00 for Lunch.

We stopped at Pak Asep Strawberry Nasi Liwet. It's a nice place. But we didn't take a picture over there. There's a small lake with fish and the food is good.
You should go there because the view is very relaxing and the weather is a little bit cold.

at 17:00 we arrived at Tasik, and browse a couple hotels for rest,
and finally we went to Galunggung Hotel near Santika hotel. The price is relatively cheap and the room is spacious enough for all of us. So we went to book 2 of their standards room. Rp 270.000,- (we are saving!!)

Abi the fireman

This is my nephew abi. He is bang ichwan son. He want to be a fireman,like most kids in america. I think fireman is underestimated here in our country. I really hope someday people will appreciate their job and their sacrifice.

Aek godang airport

Aek godang is a small airstrip / airport near sidempuan. We fly one
hour only from medan, the panorama was great and the weather was good.
This is our plane. Only 12 passangers seats are available. It's a little
bit shaky up there when we pass the cloud. You will need a pickup
arrangement to natama hotel at sidempuan. It is cheap only 45 usd by
toyota kijang.

It is near panyabungan and sidempuan

I Got one!!! It is very small fish, but just cure my curiosity. it is
very relaxing over here i hope i can see you next year. Please come
here. The best place to stay is Natama hotel, at sidempuan. It is
about one hour trip by car.

Fishing pool brother meinul

This is bang meinul fishery. The place is near panyabungan, desa bange. one hour trip from sidempuan. Nice place to stay. Actually it is very crowded during ramadhan holiday. I hope i can get place like this next year, so i can invite you to my country Indonesia.

My lontong medan

This is called Lontong medan. It is made from rice, boiled / steamed, and then molded with banana leaf.

The dish is very spicy and hot. I love to eat this when i travel to medan. The sauce is Tauco spice. It is from tofu and i think it's fermented?? i'm sorry for the bad explanation. By the way, just try it when you are in medan. Many places have this menu.
